A wall-mounted 12U cabinet built for real-world service access

Wall racks are easy to install and miserable to maintain — until you need to trace a patch lead behind a switch. The Ubiquiti UACC-Rack-12U-Wall-SW-P solves that with a solid swing-out rear door, giving you hands-on access to cabling and rear-facing ports without unbolting a thing. Both side panels are removable and individually lockable, so a cramped comms cupboard still works as a service position.

At 600 × 700 × 639 mm, it holds 12U of 19-inch equipment on a 4-post frame with an 80 kg (176 lb) weight capacity — comfortably enough for a UniFi Cloud Gateway, a PoE switch or two, a patch panel and a small UPS.

Perforated front door for passive airflow, dual fans for active cooling

The perforated steel front door lets ambient air move straight across your equipment instead of trapping it behind glass — the right choice when you're running PoE switches at load. Backing that up, two 120 × 120 × 38 mm AC fan modules come pre-installed, running at ≤ 50 dB(A): quiet enough for an office cupboard or a retail back room.

The front door ships as a left-hand outswing and is fully reversible, so the cabinet fits the corner you actually have rather than the one you wish you had.

Locked down, four ways

Security is built in rather than bolted on: one front door lock, one swing-out door lock and four side panel locks, with two keys supplied. Grounding lugs are fitted as standard for safe, compliant bonding.

Adjustable depth for mixed hardware

Rack rails adjust from a default 434 mm (17.1") to a maximum 559 mm (22") in 25 mm (1") increments, using square mounting holes with standard cage nuts. Deeper gateways, shallow patch panels and everything between all mount properly.

Generous cable entry, front and back

Route cleanly from any direction: a 350 × 100 mm rear-wall opening, two 235 × 62 mm top openings, one 235 × 62 mm bottom opening, and eight 35 mm knockouts split between the top and bottom panels.

Ships fully assembled

No flat-pack, no missing bolts, no hour lost on the floor of a comms room. The cabinet arrives built at 25.8 kg (56.9 lb) — mount it to a solid wall, load your gear, close the doors.
