The plug is swapped before dispatch so your product is ready to use out of the box.

Option B β€” AU Plug Included

The original US/EU plug stays in the box, and we include an Australian (Type I) plug alongside it so you have both options.

You'll find the additional AU plug packed alongside the original accessories.

Why might my Ubiquiti product come with a US or EU plug?

Ubiquiti manufactures products for a global market. Occasionally, batches shipped to Australian distributors include US (Type A/B) or EU (Type C/F) power plugs rather than the Australian-standard Type I plug. This is a manufacturer-level variation and does not affect the product's functionality or warranty.

Has the original packaging been opened?

In some cases, yes β€” we open the box to swap the plug. The product itself is brand new, unused, and the original packaging is carefully resealed.

Can I still use the original US/EU plug?

If we included the AU plug alongside the original, then yes β€” both plugs are in the box. If we swapped the plug, the original will not be included.

Does this affect my warranty?

No. Replacing or adding a power plug does not void your Ubiquiti warranty. The product hardware remains completely untouched.
