Hotel rooms, apartments, student accommodation, home offices and renovated homes often come with thick walls, limited ceiling access or a single network outlet per room. UniFi wall and in-wall access points are designed for exactly these spaces. They mount neatly on the wall, put strong WiFi right where people use their devices, and run on a single PoE cable for both power and data.

The range spans WiFi 6, WiFi 6E and WiFi 7, including tri-band models with 6 GHz support, so you can match performance and budget to every room in your project.

Why choose a wall-mounted access point?

• Strong coverage, room by room. An access point in each room avoids signal loss through brick and concrete, giving every guest, tenant or family member a fast, stable connection.
• Wired ports built in. The U7 In-Wall, U6 In-Wall and U6 Enterprise In-Wall add extra Ethernet ports for smart TVs, IPTV boxes, VoIP phones, game consoles and desktops, with PoE output on one port to power a connected device.
• One-cable installation. PoE carries power and data over a single Ethernet run, so there’s no need for a nearby power point.
• A clean, low-profile finish. Slim enclosures sit close to the wall, and optional paintable covers and flush mounts for the U7 Pro Wall and U7 Pro XG Wall help them blend into any interior.

U7 Pro XG Wall: WiFi 7 with a 10 GbE uplink

Tri-band WiFi 7 across 2.4, 5 and 6 GHz, with 6 spatial streams, 320 MHz channels and speeds up to 5.8 Gbps on the 6 GHz band. Its 10 GbE port (also compatible with 1, 2.5 and 5 GbE) suits multi-gig networks, while coverage of up to 140 m² (1,500 ft²) and 300+ clients makes it a future-ready choice for homes and offices.

U7 Pro Wall: WiFi 7 made for home builders

Tri-band WiFi 7 with 6 GHz support, 6 spatial streams and a 2.5 GbE uplink, with the same 140 m² (1,500 ft²) coverage and 300+ client capacity. Pair it with the optional paintable cover, paintable flush mount or table stand for a finish that suits any room.

U7 In-Wall: WiFi 7 with a built-in 2.5 GbE switch

Dual-band WiFi 7 (2.4 and 5 GHz) with 4 spatial streams and speeds up to 4.3 Gbps on 5 GHz. A 2.5 GbE uplink plus two more 2.5 GbE ports, one with PoE output, make it a natural fit for hotel rooms, apartments and serviced residences. It covers up to 115 m² (1,250 ft²) and supports 200+ clients.

U6 Enterprise In-Wall: WiFi 6E for high-density spaces

This WiFi 6E model delivers 10 spatial streams, with 4x4 MIMO on both 5 GHz and 6 GHz and speeds up to 4.8 Gbps per band. It adds a 2.5 GbE uplink and four Gigabit Ethernet ports (one with PoE output), and supports 600+ clients, making it ideal for busy offices, meeting rooms and other high-density environments.

U6 In-Wall: Proven WiFi 6 with four Ethernet ports

A dependable choice for single-room coverage, with 6 spatial streams and 4x4 MIMO on 5 GHz for speeds up to 4.8 Gbps. A Gigabit uplink and four Gigabit ports (one with PoE output) suit hotel rooms, student accommodation and apartments with several wired devices. It covers up to 115 m² (1,250 ft²) and supports 250+ clients.

Seamless roaming, guest access and central management

Every access point in the collection is managed in the UniFi Network application alongside your UniFi gateways, switches and other access points, with no licence fees. Fast roaming (802.11r/k/v) and band steering keep devices connected as people move between rooms, while built-in hospitality tools make guest WiFi simple: branded captive portals, voucher and payment-based authentication, Private Pre-Shared Keys (PPSK), client isolation, speed limits and WiFi schedules. For IT teams, RADIUS-assigned VLANs and RADIUS over TLS (RadSec) are supported too, and every model in the range is NDAA compliant.

Good to know before you install

• The U7 Pro Wall and U7 Pro XG Wall are powered by PoE+.
• The U7 In-Wall and U6 In-Wall run on standard PoE but need PoE+ to enable their PoE output port. The U6 Enterprise In-Wall runs on PoE+ and needs PoE++ for PoE output.
• 6 GHz operation on the U7 Pro Wall, U7 Pro XG Wall and U6 Enterprise In-Wall depends on local regulations, so check availability in your country.
