Ride out NBN dropouts and short blackouts, and run more of your site from one UniFi ecosystem with fewer vendors to juggle.

Less downtime, fewer vendors – one UniFi ecosystem to run it all

Ubiquiti UniFi integrations: storage, power, backup internet, voice and IoT

Many sites end up running a patchwork of systems: a NAS from one brand, a UPS from another, an ageing PABX in the comms cupboard and a 4G dongle for when the NBN drops out. UniFi integrations bring it all into the same ecosystem as your UniFi gateway, switches and access points – consistent hardware, familiar UniFi apps and far fewer vendors to chase when something needs attention.

Shop the full range, or go straight to network storage, power tech, LTE/5G, managed VoIP or premium IoT.

UniFi network storage (UNAS)

Keep files, backups and shared folders on hardware you own, with centralised storage managed alongside the rest of your UniFi network. The compact UNAS 2 and UNAS 4 suit home offices, small teams and homelabs, pairing 2.5 GbE networking with USB-C connectivity – and the UNAS 4 adds two M.2 NVMe SSD cache slots for faster access. Growing businesses can step up to the rack-mount UNAS Pro 4, UNAS Pro or UNAS Pro 8, with 10 Gbps networking and up to eight drive bays. For large-scale deployments, the 16-bay Enterprise NAS (ENAS) brings dual 25 Gbps SFP28 ports, Mini-SAS HD expansion and redundant power.

UniFi UPS, redundant power and PDUs

Blackouts, brownouts and summer storms can knock a whole site offline, and an unplanned shutdown risks corrupted data and gaps in your security footage. The UPS Tower and rack-mount UPS 2U keep critical gear running through short outages, with graceful shutdown for UniFi NVRs and UNAS, plus NUT compatibility for third-party devices. The flagship UPS 2U Pro steps up with pure sine wave output, per-outlet power monitoring, remote power cycling and a hot-swappable battery.

For cameras, access points and door readers that can’t afford to drop out, the UPS PoE Switch Mission Critical has a built-in lithium-ion battery that keeps up to eight PoE devices powered without interruption. Complete the comms rack with Redundant Power (USP-RPS) as a backup supply for rack-mounted UniFi gear, the Power Distribution Pro for remote control of every outlet, and the Power Distribution Hi-Density for larger rack builds.

5G and LTE internet backup

When the NBN drops out, cloud POS, EFTPOS, VoIP calls and remote access can go down with it. UniFi’s LTE and 5G range adds automatic mobile failover to your UniFi gateway, so you keep trading until the fixed line is back. The UniFi 5G Max delivers up to 3.4 Gbps, adopts through any UniFi PoE port and supports dual SIM and eSIM, while the 5G Max Outdoor adds weatherproofing and directional antennas for regional sites and patchy coverage. Compact backup models and UniFi Mobile Routers – including the ruggedised Mobile Router Industrial – cover pop-up sites, kiosks, vehicles and remote IoT deployments.

UniFi Talk VoIP phones

Retire the old PABX and move to a modern business phone system that runs on your UniFi network. The G3 Touch Pro (5-inch touchscreen) and G3 Touch Enterprise (7-inch touchscreen) bring smartphone-style simplicity to the desk, the G3 Touch Wall suits receptions, warehouses and staffrooms, and the G3 Wireless Handset adds cordless flexibility. The Analog Telephone Adapter keeps existing analogue handsets and fax machines in service.

UniFi Talk phones are PoE-powered for clean, single-cable installation. Unlocked models work with SIP trunks from Australian providers, and Talk Relay connects them to existing PBX platforms. UniFi Talk also integrates with UniFi Access, so calls from your door intercom can ring straight through to the phones on your desks.

Premium IoT: audio, signage, A/V and EV charging

Extend UniFi to the things your staff, customers and visitors see and hear every day.

UniFi Play multi-zone audio

The PoE Audio Port brings AirPlay, Google Cast, Spotify Connect and Soundtrack Your Brand streaming to existing amplifiers and active speakers, while the PowerAmp drives passive speakers directly. Both are set up and controlled in the UniFi Play app and scale to multi-zone installations – ideal for cafes, retail fit-outs, offices and homes.

Digital signage and AV-over-IP

Display Cast Pro and Display Cast Lite turn HDMI screens into centrally managed digital signage, while the Enterprise Audio/Video Bridge carries 4K60 HDMI and professional XLR audio across your network, powered by PoE+.

Managed EV charging

EV Station Pro and EV Station Lite deliver weatherproof, managed EV charging with flexible access control for workplaces, fleet depots and strata car parks. The Pro adds a bright 10.1-inch touchscreen that doubles as digital signage, plus support for a payment terminal accessory.

Frequently asked questions

Can UniFi 5G back up my NBN connection?
Yes. Paired with a UniFi gateway, the UniFi 5G Max and 5G Max Outdoor fail over automatically when your NBN or fixed-line service drops out, then switch back once it’s restored. You’ll need an active SIM or eSIM with a mobile data plan, so check coverage at your site before you buy.

Do UniFi Talk phones work in Australia?
Yes. Unlocked UniFi Talk phones connect to third-party SIP trunks, and several Australian SIP providers already publish UniFi Talk setup guides. Talk Relay also lets you connect them to an existing PBX platform.

Will a UniFi UPS shut down my NAS safely?
Yes. The UPS Tower and UPS 2U support graceful shutdown for UNAS and UniFi NVRs, plus NUT compatibility for third-party devices, so equipment can power down cleanly before the battery runs out.
