The Ubiquiti UniFi U7 Pro XG Wall is a wall-mounted, 6 GHz-ready WiFi 7 access point with a 10 GbE uplink, designed to bring multi-gigabit wireless to hotel rooms, offices and living spaces without a ceiling-mounted AP in sight. Six spatial streams across the 2.4, 5 and 6 GHz bands, single-cable PoE+ power and support for 300+ client devices make it a discreet, high-performance addition to any UniFi network.

Multi-gigabit WiFi 7 from the wall

The U7 Pro XG Wall combines three radios—2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz, each 2x2 with downlink and uplink MU-MIMO—for six spatial streams in total. WiFi 7 channel widths of up to 320 MHz on 6 GHz and 240 MHz on 5 GHz lift peak data rates to 5.8 Gbps and 4.3 Gbps respectively, while the 2.4 GHz radio delivers up to 688 Mbps for legacy and IoT devices. Backward compatibility with WiFi 6, WiFi 5 and 802.11n clients means every device in the room connects, and up to eight BSSIDs per radio leave plenty of room to separate staff, guest and IoT networks.

A 10 GbE uplink that keeps pace

Multi-gigabit WiFi is only as fast as the cable behind it. The U7 Pro XG Wall's RJ45 port supports 1, 2.5, 5 and 10 GbE, so it can link to a compatible PoE+ switch at 10 GbE today, while existing 1 or 2.5 GbE cabling keeps working until you upgrade. Power arrives over the same cable via PoE+ (42.5–57 V DC) with a maximum consumption of 22 W. For locations without a PoE switch, Ubiquiti's Wall series installation add-ons include PoE+ and 10G PoE++ adapters.

Designed to disappear into the room

Ubiquiti's Wall series is built for interiors: sleek, discreet access points that turn an Ethernet drop into WiFi and blend into hotels, offices and guest spaces. The U7 Pro XG Wall measures 155 x 108 x 33.5 mm and weighs 505 g, with a polycarbonate and aluminium-alloy enclosure, an aluminium-alloy mount and a single white/blue system LED. Optional accessories take the low profile further: the Paintable Cover lets the AP match any wall colour, the Paintable Flush Mount enables a recessed, near-flush installation, and the Table Stand converts it into a freestanding desktop unit.

Roaming, security and guest access built in

Everything you would expect from a UniFi Pro-class access point is on board. 802.11k radio resource management, 802.11v BSS transition management and 802.11r fast roaming keep hand-offs clean; band steering and Advanced Radio Management guide clients to the right band and channel. On the security side, Private Pre-Shared Keys let you issue individual keys on a shared network, RADIUS over TLS (RadSec) protects authentication traffic, and dynamic RADIUS-assigned VLANs place users in the correct network automatically. Guest network isolation, client device isolation, WiFi speed limiting and WiFi schedules complete the toolkit, while the captive hotspot portal supports custom branding, vouchers, passwords, payment-based authentication and external portal servers. Wireless meshing is also supported where cabling is impractical (requires a UniFi console).

Managed through UniFi

The U7 Pro XG Wall is managed through UniFi Network version 10.0 or later and the UniFi mobile app (iOS 10.29.3+ / Android 10.31.1+). Ubiquiti recommends pairing UniFi access points with a UniFi Cloud Gateway for a full-featured network with enhanced security, traffic analytics, built-in VPN access and policy-based routing. The free UniFi Design Center lets you upload a floor plan, place devices and confirm coverage and cabling requirements before installation.
