UniFi Dream Router 5G Max

The Dream Router 5G Max is an all-in-one UniFi Console that combines a high-performance WiFi 7 router, PoE output, multiple high-speed WAN ports, and an integrated 5G cellular modem.

The purpose of the 5G connection on the Dream Router 5G Max is to provide flexible, always-on connectivity through its built-in 5G Sub-6 GHz modem, which supports both eSIM and physical Nano-SIM cards.

You can configure the 5G connection as:

• Primary WAN: Ideal for locations without a stable wired internet connection.
• Backup WAN: If your main wired connection (such as a 10G SFP+ or 2.5 GbE port) goes offline, the Dream Router 5G Max automatically switches to the 5G network, ensuring uninterrupted connectivity.
