UniFi Slim 12U Rack Cabinet with Glass Front Door

The Ubiquiti UACC-Rack-12U-Wall-450-G is a fully enclosed, four-post 12U rack cabinet designed to mount directly on a wall — no floor space, no assembly, no compromise on airflow or security. At just 450 mm deep, this Slim variant fits into plant rooms, retail back-of-house, AV cupboards and offices where a full-depth floor rack simply won't go. It arrives fully assembled, so you can hang it, ground it and start racking gear the same day.

Behind the tempered glass front door sit two pre-installed 120 mm fans, four lockable removable side panels, and cable entry points on the top, bottom and rear. It's built to EIA/ECA-310-E square-hole standard, so it takes your UniFi switches, gateways and NVRs alongside any standard 19-inch equipment.

Flat-pack cabinets can eat an hour or more of billable time before a single device goes in. The UACC-Rack-12U-Wall-450-G arrives built: posts squared, panels fitted, fans wired, door hung. Lift it onto the wall bracket and you're racking equipment in minutes.

Tempered glass front door with reversible hinge

The tempered glass door lets you read link lights, LCD panels and status LEDs without opening anything up — ideal for client-facing offices, showrooms and any install where the rack is on display. It ships as a left-hand outswing by default and is fully reversible, so it works in corners and tight corridors where the door needs to open the other way. Prefer maximum passive airflow over visibility? The same cabinet is also offered with a perforated steel front door.

Dual built-in fans, kept quiet

Two 120 x 120 x 38 mm AC fan modules come pre-installed in the roof to pull heat away from stacked switches and gateways. Sound pressure stays at or below 50 dB(A), which is quiet enough to live in an occupied office or studio rather than being banished to a comms room.

450 mm depth that fits where full racks can't

The rack body measures 550 x 450 x 635 mm (21.7 x 17.7 x 25"), making it one of the shallowest ways to deploy a genuine four-post enclosed cabinet. Mounting depth is adjustable from a 283 mm default out to 305 mm in 22 mm increments, so you can dial in clearance for deeper chassis and cable bends.

Locked front and sides, not just the door

Security is often an afterthought on wall cabinets. Here you get a front door lock plus four separate side panel locks, with two keys included — so the cabinet can't be opened from the flanks even when it's mounted in a shared corridor, tenancy or retail floor. The side panels are solid and fully removable, which means you can still strip the cabinet down for a big cable pull, then lock it back up.

Cable entry on three faces

Three generous knockouts route cable however the room demands it: a 350 x 100 mm opening on the rear wall for a flush feed straight out of the plasterboard, plus 336.5 x 52.5 mm openings on both the top and the bottom for surface conduit or overhead tray. Grounding lugs are included for safe bonding.

Built from steel, finished properly

The cabinet is SPCC steel throughout — 0.8 mm door and side panels, 0.8 mm main body, and 2 mm mounting posts for rigidity where it counts. A white powder-coat finish keeps it looking clean in visible installs and resists scuffing during fit-out. Total capacity is 50 kg (110 lb), with the cabinet itself weighing 19 kg (41.9 lb).

Device Compatibility

The UACC-Rack-12U-Wall-450-G supports Ubiquiti rack-mount devices up to 325 mm deep. Devices at the full 325 mm can be installed when mounting depth is set to the 305 mm maximum, though DC power backup is not supported at that setting due to limited rear clearance. Because the posts follow the EIA/ECA-310-E square-hole standard, the cabinet also accepts third-party 19-inch equipment, patch panels and shelves.
