UniFi U7 Mesh

The Ubiquiti UniFi U7 Mesh brings WiFi 7 to the compact, go-anywhere UniFi Mesh format. An all-new super antenna combines true omnidirectional coverage with a long-range directional beam for up to 3× the reach in mesh deployments, while the IPX6-rated enclosure, included PoE adapter and wall, pole and table-stand mounts make it as easy to place outside as on a shelf indoors.

Slim enough to sit on a shelf and tough enough to mount on a pole outside, the UniFi U7 Mesh is Ubiquiti's WiFi 7 evolution of the UniFi Mesh access point line. It keeps the familiar Ø48.5 × 159.5 mm cylinder but rebuilds everything inside it: new WiFi 7 radios, a new antenna system and a redesigned mount that installs faster and seals better against the weather. One unit covers around 140 m² (1,500 ft²) and 200+ client devices, wherever you need it.

WiFi 7 speed, ready for what comes next

Dual-band 802.11be radios deliver up to 4.3 Gbps on 5 GHz (240 MHz channels) and 688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz across four spatial streams, with 2×2 downlink/uplink MU-MIMO on each band. Higher data rates, lower latency and better airtime efficiency translate into real-world gains on busy, high-density networks and bandwidth-heavy applications, while full support for WiFi 6, WiFi 5 and 802.11n keeps every existing device connected. A 2.5 GbE uplink makes sure the wired side keeps pace.

Super antenna: all-round coverage, focused long-range reach

At the heart of the U7 Mesh is an all-new super antenna architecture that blends true omnidirectional coverage (6 dBi on 5 GHz) with a precision long-range directional beam (10 dBi on 5 GHz). Nearby clients get broad, even coverage; the directional beam provides a strong, high-gain link engineered for high-performance mesh backhaul, extending reach up to three times farther in mesh deployments. That means WiFi in the outbuilding, across the yard or at the far end of the site — without running new cable.

Built for indoors and out

A UV-stabilised polycarbonate enclosure and mount, IPX6 weatherproofing when installed with the outdoor mount, and an operating range of −30 to 60 °C (−22 to 140 °F) at 5–95% humidity let the U7 Mesh shrug off rain, sun and cold. The redesigned mounting system improves stability and weather resistance, and wall, pole and table-stand mounts all ship in the box, so the same unit works on an exterior wall, a post or a bookshelf.

Installs in minutes, powered by PoE

A single 2.5 GbE RJ45 port carries both data and power. Connect it to a UniFi PoE switch, or use the included PoE adapter to power it from any AC outlet. Maximum power draw is just 13 W. Adopt the access point from the UniFi Network mobile app or UniFi Network 10.1.85 and later, and it joins your network automatically.

The U7 Mesh is driven by UniFi's advanced analytics and RF Intelligence Engine, which give real-time visibility into spectrum conditions and smarter automatic RF optimisation, so you can tune performance proactively instead of reacting to complaints. Manage one site or dozens from UniFi Site Manager with centralised visibility, configuration and monitoring, with no licensing fees.
