UniFi Retrofit PSU 12V

The UniFi Retrofit PSU 12V is a purpose-built AC-to-DC power supply for the UniFi Retrofit Hub. It converts standard 100–240V AC mains into a clean 12V DC, 5A supply and adds a dedicated terminal for an optional 12V SLA backup battery — so your retrofitted doors keep authenticating, unlocking and logging when building power drops. Three status LEDs give you at-a-glance confirmation of mains, output and battery state, and a compact 127 x 76 mm footprint keeps it tidy inside the enclosure or wiring closet alongside your DIN-rail hub.

Wire a 12V SLA battery to the dedicated battery terminal and the PSU charges it continuously at 0.5A, then hands over automatically during an outage. Access control is only as reliable as its power source — this keeps your Retrofit Hub, readers and locks online through the interruption instead of leaving a door in an unknown state.

This isn't a generic 12V brick. The output rating, the dedicated DC output terminal and the battery circuit are all matched to the UniFi Retrofit Hub, which removes the guesswork around headroom, connector types and charge current. Three status LEDs report power and battery condition directly on the unit. Installers and facilities staff can confirm mains input, DC output and backup battery health during commissioning or a callout without pulling covers or probing terminals.
