The Ubiquiti UniFi In-Wall Speaker (UACC-In-Wall-Speaker) is a 6.5" in-wall speaker that brings rich, room-filling sound to any space while blending seamlessly into the wall. A 6.5" woofer and pivoting 1" tweeter deliver 47 Hz – 20 kHz response, 130W power handling and up to 106 dB maximum SPL. Enhanced for use with UniFi PowerAmp, it connects with standard 8–16 AWG speaker wire and is NDAA compliant.

Rich, room-filling sound that blends in

The UniFi In-Wall Speaker is built to bring rich, room-filling sound to any space without drawing attention to itself. Behind the metal grille, a 6.5" woofer handles the low end down to 47 Hz while a 1" tweeter extends the top end to 20 kHz, giving a 47 Hz – 20 kHz (±3 dB) frequency response from a single in-wall enclosure. A 90° axisymmetric coverage pattern spreads that sound evenly across the room, and with 86 dB sensitivity and up to 106 dB maximum SPL at 1 m, there is headroom to fill larger spaces. The tweeter pivots ±15°, so high frequencies can be aimed toward listeners even when the speaker has to be mounted off-axis.

Enhanced for UniFi PowerAmp

Ubiquiti specifies the In-Wall Speaker as enhanced for use with UniFi PowerAmp, and the numbers show why: its 130W maximum power handling and 8 Ω nominal impedance match the PowerAmp's 130W-per-channel output at 8 Ω. Ubiquiti also confirms that two 8-ohm passive speakers can be wired in parallel to a single PowerAmp channel (a 4 Ω load), giving installers flexibility in how zones are laid out.

Pairing the speaker with PowerAmp turns a passive in-wall speaker into part of a networked audio system. PowerAmp adds low-latency wireless streaming via Apple AirPlay and Spotify Connect, an HDMI eARC input, RCA analogue inputs and a subwoofer output, group control of up to 32 PowerAmps for multi-zone audio, and management through the UniFi Play app – with UniFi Pro A/V Switching integration for a converged networking and premium audio deployment.

Designed to disappear

The speaker measures 315 × 229 × 88 mm (12.4 × 9 × 3.5") and weighs 1.9 kg (4.2 lb), with an 88 mm (3.5") installation size. A polycarbonate enclosure and metal grille keep the profile clean once installed, so the speaker sits flush and blends with the wall for an uncompromised listening experience. It sits alongside the UniFi In-Ceiling Speaker in Ubiquiti's Speakers range, which Ubiquiti lists as compatible with the In-Wall Speaker, so a project can combine both across walls and ceilings.
