Most 42U cabinets arrive as a flat-pack puzzle and a lost afternoon. The Ubiquiti UACC-Rack-42U-1000-G ships fully assembled — roll it into position on its lockable casters, drop the levelling stands, and start mounting hardware. For integrators working to a schedule, that's an install window measured in minutes instead of hours.

At 600 × 1000 × 2050 mm (with casters fitted), the cabinet delivers a full 42U of usable height with the extra rear depth you need for deep servers, patching, PDUs and cable slack — without cramming the back of the rack.

Built to carry serious weight

The frame is SPCC steel throughout, with 2mm posts, a 1mm main body and 1.2mm door and side panels, all powder-coated in white. That construction supports a static load of 800kg (1,764 lb), and 320kg (705 lb) while rolling, so a fully populated rack of switches, servers and UPS gear sits on a chassis engineered well past its working load.

Mounting depth is adjustable from a 652.3mm default out to 877.3mm in 15mm increments, with standard square mounting holes to EIA/ECA-310-E — so anything built to the 19-inch standard drops straight in.

Airflow that's already handled

Four 120 × 120 × 38 mm AC fan units come pre-installed in the top panel, actively exhausting heat before it pools around your top-of-rack equipment. Paired with four cable entry openings (two top, two bottom, each 335 × 52.5 mm), the cabinet manages both thermal load and cable routing without aftermarket add-ons.

Visibility without vulnerability

The tempered glass front door keeps status LEDs, port activity and equipment labelling visible at a glance — useful in demo racks, comms rooms with client visibility, and any space where the rack is part of the room rather than hidden in it. Behind it sits a solid rear door and four solid side panels.

Both doors default to a left-hand outswing and are fully reversible, so the cabinet adapts to the room rather than the other way around.

Locked down at every access point

Security is comprehensive rather than token: one front door lock, one rear door lock and eight side panel locks, supplied with three keys. Every removable panel is also a lockable panel, closing off the side-entry route that catches out cheaper cabinets.

Deployment-ready hardware, included

Lockable casters, levelling stands, floor anchoring and cabinet interconnect are all built in — so the same cabinet works as a single free-standing unit, a floor-anchored install in a seismic or high-traffic environment, or one bay in a ganged row. Grounding lugs and vertical cable management are integrated as standard.
