The Ubiquiti UACC-Rack-Rails-Slide is a 1U ball-bearing rail kit that lets rack-mounted UniFi equipment glide forward out of the cabinet instead of being unbolted and lifted clear of it. Where fixed rack ears force you to disconnect cabling and unrack a switch just to reach a rear port, an SFP cage or a fan, these sliding rack rails put the whole chassis in front of you in seconds — then take it back in just as smoothly.

For anyone who maintains a rack alone, that difference is the whole product. A loaded 48-port PoE switch is heavy, awkward and expensive to drop. Sliding rails carry the weight for you.

Smooth, load-rated ball-bearing travel

Each rail runs on a ball-bearing sliding mechanism rather than a friction slide, so extension stays even and controlled across the full travel — no binding, no sudden lurch when the centre of gravity crosses the rack posts. The kit is rated to 45 kg (99 lb), which comfortably covers high-density UniFi switches, NAS appliances and rack-mount power gear.

Adjustable depth for real-world racks

Not every cabinet is the same depth, and gear you buy today has to fit the rack you already own. The UACC-Rack-Rails-Slide adjusts to fit 4-post racks from 600 mm to 1066 mm (23.6" to 42") deep, spanning everything from shallow comms cabinets to full-depth server enclosures — including Ubiquiti's own 42U UniFi rack cabinets.

Built from SGCC steel

The rails are formed from SGCC (hot-dip galvanised) steel, the same class of coated steel used for structural rack components. The zinc coating resists corrosion in humid comms rooms and unconditioned plant spaces, so the rails keep their action over years of cycling rather than seizing up.

Designed as part of the UniFi rack system

These are a first-party Ubiquiti accessory, not a generic universal rail. They're dimensioned around UniFi chassis mounting points, they match the finish of UniFi rack hardware, and they mount to square-hole 4-post racks using the standard cage-nut pattern. The result is a rack that looks and behaves like a single designed system.
