Built for the racks that actually get filled

Most 42U cabinets arrive flat-packed and cost you half a day before a single switch goes in. The Ubiquiti UACC-Rack-42U-1000-P ships fully assembled. Roll it into position on its lockable casters, drop the levelling stands, anchor it, and start populating.

At 1000mm deep, it clears the space that shallower 600mm and 800mm cabinets can't — full-depth servers, rear-facing PDUs, patch panels and cable slack all coexist without a fight. Adjustable mounting depth runs from a default 652.3mm out to 877.3mm in 15mm increments, so the rails meet your hardware instead of the other way around.

Airflow that doesn't need a retrofit

Perforated front and rear doors create a clean front-to-back airflow path, and four pre-installed 120 x 120 x 38mm AC fan units sit ready in the roof to pull heat out of the top of the cabinet. For a rack packed with switches, gateways, NVRs and servers, that's passive intake and active exhaust working together from day one — no aftermarket fan tray, no cutting corners on thermals.

Load ratings you can plan around

• 800kg static capacity — a fully loaded rack of servers, UPS units and storage
• 320kg rolling capacity — move a partially loaded cabinet without stripping it down first

Construction is SPCC steel throughout: 2mm posts, 1.2mm doors and side panels, 1mm main body, finished in a white powder coat. The rack itself weighs 84.2kg empty.

Locked down on every side

Security is comprehensive rather than token: one front door lock, one rear door lock and eight side panel locks, all keyed and supplied with three keys. All four side panels are solid, removable and individually lockable — useful for quick service access in a comms room without leaving an open cabinet behind you.

Both doors default to a left-hand outswing and are fully reversible, so the cabinet fits the room rather than dictating it.
