The UniFi 42U Rack Cabinet arrives on your floor fully built. There's no frame to bolt together, no posts to square up, no missing hardware to chase down — you unbox it, roll it into position on its lockable casters, drop the levelling stands, and start racking. For integrators billing by the hour, that's most of a day's labour recovered on every install.

42U of usable depth for the gear you actually run

Four square-hole posts give you a true 42U of EIA/ECA-310-E-compatible mounting, with an adjustable rail depth from 607.2 mm out to 682.2 mm in 15 mm increments. At 800 mm deep, there's genuine room behind your switches for patch cords, PDUs, and cable managers instead of a crushed bundle jamming the rear door shut. Static capacity is rated to 800 kg (1,764 lb), so a fully populated rack of servers, UPS units, and storage is well within spec.

Airflow that's engineered in, not bolted on

Two 120 mm AC fan modules come pre-installed in the roof to pull hot exhaust up and out of the enclosure. Four cable entry openings — two top, two bottom — let you route power and fibre without leaving gaps that break your airflow path. Choose the perforated front door variant where thermal load is heavy, or the tempered glass door where the rack is on display.

Locked down on all six sides

A glass front door lock, a solid rear door lock, and eight individual side-panel locks mean the cabinet is secured everywhere someone could reach in. Three keys ship in the box. All four side panels are fully removable, so service access stays quick for the people who are supposed to have it. Grounding lugs are included for a proper bonded install.

Built to stay put — or move when you need it to

Lockable casters make repositioning straightforward during fit-out; levelling stands and a floor anchor lock the cabinet down permanently once it's placed. Rolling capacity is 320 kg (705 lb). Cabinet interconnect hardware lets you gang multiple units into a clean, aligned row.

Fabricated from powder-coated SPCC steel with 1.2 mm doors and panels and 2 mm posts, finished in white to match the UniFi hardware line. NDAA compliant, and certified to CE and RoHS.
